Quality Tests:
Penkid window restrictor has test certificates for compliance with relevant European Union Standards. Frequent quality tests are done on all materials which are used to make penkid window locks. Moreover penkid window lock samples are randomly selected from each production lot, and are subjected to load tests and their compliance are checked as per our standards. Minimum breaking point is 500 kg force during testing.
Assembly Instructions:
1.Outward Opening Windows and Doors:
- Position the lock unit ( A ) on the fixed frame and the cable unit ( B ) on the opening frame. Directly screw provided self-tapping screw with a crosshead screwdriver. Alternatively pilot holes can be pre-drill.
- Clip plastic covers ( C ) in to position over the lock and the cable unit. Once clipped, they cannot remove easily, please do not try it before installation.
- To lock the penkid, insert the cable pin into the lock body and push it. To unlock it, turn the key left and remove the pin with your other hand. Please install high enough and keep the key away from children.
2.Inward Opening Windows and Doors:
- Position The lock unit ( A ) on the opening frame and the cable unit ( B ) on the fixed frame and the cable unit ( B ) on the fixed frame. Directly screw provided self-tapping screws with a crosshead screwdriver. Alternatively pilot holes can be pre-drill.
- Clip plastic covers ( C ) into position over the lock and the cable unit. Once clipped, they cannot remove easily, please do not try it before installation.
- To lock the penkid, insert the cable pin into the lock body and push it. To unlock it, turn the key left and remove the pin with your other hand. Please keep the key away from children.
2.Sliding Windows and Doors:
- Apply the same steps as outward opening windows just with changing the positions of the lock unit ( A ) and the cable unit ( B ). Position the lock unit ( A ) on the sliding frame and the cable unit ( B ) on the fixed frame.
