Portable Alcohol Testing Machine or Alcohol Testing Machines, commonly we say breathalyzers, are essential tools the world uses to estimate a person’s Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) based on the alcohol concentration in their breath. From ensuring road safety to maintaining strict workplace protocols, these portable devices offer a rapid, non-invasive method for monitoring sobriety and promoting responsible behavior.

How Alcohol Testing Machines Work?
A breathalyzer operates on the scientific principle that alcohol consumed by a person is absorbed into the bloodstream. As blood circulates through the lungs, a portion of the alcohol comes out thru the exhaled breath. The machine measures the concentration of alcohol vapor in the deep lung air (alveolar air).
This reading, is Breath Alcohol Content (BrAC). It converts to an estimate of Blood Alcohol Content (BAC). It uses a standardized partition ratio (historically 2,100:1). This means the amount of alcohol in 2,100 milliliters (ml) of breath is roughly equivalent to the amount in 1 ml of blood. The core of the device is its sensor technology, which determines its accuracy and reliability.
